Why Little Seed?
Little Seed Counseling was founded on the belief that everyone deserves a space to be seen, heard, and understood. Inspired by the idea that, like a seed, we all have the potential to grow into our fullest selves with the right support, we’ve created a practice that honors each person’s individuality. Our journey began with a simple goal: to offer compassionate care that empowers people to embrace their true identity and cultivate a life they feel deeply connected to.
Grow into the life that feels true to you.

SUPPORTING NEW THERAPISTS
Clinical Intern Program
Our Clinical Intern Program is designed to provide aspiring therapists with hands-on experience while maintaining the high standards of care we are known for. Our interns are graduate students from accredited programs in the final stages of their training. While they manage caseloads similar to our licensed clinicians, they do so under the close supervision of experienced professionals. This program allows us to offer fresh perspectives and dedicated support while ensuring transparency in the training and development process. Explore our FAQS to understand the benefits of working with our interns and determine if this option aligns with your needs.
Meet Allie
OUR CLINICAL INTERN
Hi! I’m Allie Hoyt, currently pursuing my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Wake Forest University. I'm passionate about creating a welcoming space where everyone feels accepted for who they are. I focus on inclusivity and am completing SafeZone training to support that mission. My key areas of interest include neurodivergence (as I am neurodivergent myself), trauma, addiction, and grief.
As a Graduate Clinical Intern, I offer the same level of care you'd expect from the practice. I receive ongoing feedback and supervision to ensure I provide affirming and impactful care. My goal is to meet you where you are and support you in getting where you want to be. Outside of work, I find healing in nature, sunsets, water, art, music—and my cat, Pumpkin, who I adopted on the first day of fall!
